  The International Federation of Bobsleigh and Tobogganing says it has denied two more protests questioning the legality of the helmet Britain's Amy Williams used to win the Olympic women's skeleton gold medal. Each protest said Williams' helmet does not conform to aerodynamic standards.

  American slider Zach Lund hit a few snags during the first two heats of Olympic skeleton competition on Thursday. Medal favorite Martins Dukurs of Latvia maintained his lead, just barely, ahead of Canada's Jon Montgomery heading into Saturday's final two heats.
