The freestyle skiing events at the Vancouver Games will be contested at Cypress Mountain, located approximately 20 miles (30 minutes by car) outside the city, near the District of West Vancouver. The spectator capacity at the Cypress Mountain venue is 12,000.

In addition to hosting freestyle skiing, Cypress Mountain is also hosting the snowboarding events at the 2010 Games. The finish area for freestyle ski cross is the same finish area that will be used for snowboard cross and snowboarding's parallel giant slalom.
