St. Louis Blues defenseman is making his Olympic debut in Vancouver, in just his second NHL season... Johnson started in the NHL in 2007-08, but missed the entire 2008-09 season because he tore his ACL and MCL in a freak accident in September... Was the first overall pick in the 2006 NHL Draft, just the fifth American ever selected first overall... Played at the 2007 World Championships and World Junior Championships, scoring the game-winning goal in the bronze medal game at the 2007 World Juniors... Also played at the 2006 World Juniors... Known for his speed, size and ability to move the puck through the neutral zone.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
