St. Louis Blues winger hoping to make his Olympic debut in Vancouver... Playing in his third full NHL season... Helped lead the Blues to the playoffs in the 2008-09 season, scoring 31 goals and 54 points... Represented the U.S. at world championships in 2007, 2008 and 2009... Selected by St. Louis in the second round, 62nd overall, in the 2003 draft... Grew up playing hockey and baseball in a Minneapolis suburb... Played three seasons at Minnesota State and was captain of the team in 2005-06.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
