Isabelle and partner Olivier Schoenfelder are victims of bad timing...The 2008 World Champions were forced to withdraw from the 2009 Worlds after Isabelle suffered a shoulder injury requiring surgery during an exhibition performance...In the spring of 2009, Isabelle announced that she was pregnant...She married longtime boyfriend and Olympic bronze medalist Ludovic Roux in June and gave birth to a baby boy, Lois, in October...Isabelle and Olivier will make their third Olympic appearance in Vancouver, after finishing 16th in Salt Lake and fourth in Torino...The team withdrew from their Grand Prix event.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
