The ski jumping star of the Salt Lake Games, Simon Ammann emerged from obscurity to win a pair of gold medals in 2002... His success, along with a resemblance to fictional wizard Harry Potter, made him an instant celebrity in the U.S. and in his native Switzerland... In recent years, Ammann has emerged from an extended slump to recapture a close facsimile to the magical form he displayed in 2002.
