At the 2006 Torino Games, Anders Johnson, then 16 years old, became the youngest ski jumper in United States Olympic history... A ski jumper at age three, he grew up idolizing Finland's Janne Ahonen and was on hand to watch Switzerland's Simon Ammann win two gold medals at the 2002 Salt Lake Games... The Park City, Utah, native is making his second Olympic appearance in 2010.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
