Making her Olympic debut in Vancouver... Has played in three world championships for Team USA, earning two golds (2008, 2009) and a silver (2007)... Played for seasons at the University of Minnesota, graduating in 2009, and finished her career sixth on the school's all-time scoring list... Hails from the same small town as 1960 gold medalists Bill and Roger Christian and 1980 gold medalist Dave Christian... Learned to skate at age 2 and has been playing hockey ever since.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
