Making her Olympic debut in Vancouver... Played at world championships in 2007 (silver), 2008 (gold) and 2009 (gold)... Has played three seasons at Wisconsin, winning two national titles... Best friends with teammate Erika Lawler... The two were roommates in high school at Cushing Academy... Taking the year off but will return to Wisconsin next year for one more season... Majoring in biology and plans to attend medical school in the future.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
