2008-09 was Patrick Deneen's breakthrough season on the international freestyle skiing circuit... One year after finishing fifth in the World Cup moguls standings, the 22-year-old broke through to claim the 2009 world title... A native of Cle Elum, Wash., Deneen's trademark speed earned him the nickname "The Rocket" from 1994 Olympic champion Jean-Luc Brassard.
