After just missing Canada's Torino team as a push athlete, Humphries makes her Olympic debut as one of the world's top drivers... The country music-loving Calgary native is married to fellow bobsled athlete Dan Humphries, who represented Great Britain at the 2006 Torino Games... A former ski racer, she switched to bobsled at 17 in order to pursue her Olympic dream.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
