A former heptathlete at Springfield College, Pac makes her Olympic debut as a driver after falling short of the Torino team as a brakeman... The Connecticut native claimed the bronze medal at last season's Whistler World Cup, where she also set the start record on the Olympic track... It was her first World Cup medal and, according to Pac, the best moment of her competitive career so far.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
