The youngest member of the U.S. men's snowboarding team, 19-year-old Greg Bretz is making his Olympic debut in Vancouver... He found his way into snowboarding because his father works as a lift mechanic at Mammoth Mountain, where Bretz grew up... The fourth and final snowboarder named to the U.S. men's team, he boasts the season's move du jour - the double-cork.

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
