At age nine Kennedy watched his current skip Kevin Martin win the 1991
national title, which provided the inspiration reach that level. Showing a poise on the ice beyond his age, Kennedy calls curling a gentleman's game. He and lead Ben Hebert form what many believe to be the finest sweeping pair in curling history. Martin calls them his "bulls."

As the pilot for the USA-1 bobsled, I broke a 62-year gold medal drought when my sled, the 'Night Train" won the Olympic title at the 2010 Vancouver Games. A degenerative eye condition nearly caused me to quit my sport in 2008, but corrective surgery restored my vision to 20-20.
